Its time for dying easter eggs, why not try a natural alternative?
1 Cup of Water
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
and choice of color:
1 Cup Chopped Purple Cabbage for Blue
1 cup Yellow Onion Skins for Orange
1 cup Grated Beets for Pink
1 Cup Chopped Purple Cabbage for Blue
1 cup Yellow Onion Skins for Orange
1 cup Grated Beets for Pink
Pour the amount of water you want to make into a pan, add the matter you are using for dye. Bring it to a boil and simmer it covered for 30-45 minutes.
When the color is how you like it cool the water mixture and strain out the natural dye matter.
Stir the vinegar into the strained liquid.
Dye your unpeeled hard boiled eggs as normal.
